Taking Sabbatical!

31 07 2007

I looked up the word Sabbatical and its definition pretty well describes what I am going to be doing.

A sabbatical year is a prolonged hiatus, typically one year, in the career of an individual taken in order to fulfill some goal, e.g., writing a book or traveling extensively for research.

Well, I guess it is time to finally fess up that none of this stuff out here on the internet really works. I would like to say it is just me, but unfortunately there are a large number of us out here that are now realizing that None of this is really all worth it.

I will be taking a sabbatical to work on my next book that I will be outlining all of the fallacies of the internet…until then you may want to check out my other book to catch up on what is going on.

You can check out the periodic blogs I will post over at my main site, IBGS Blog. Hope you enjoy the archive of blogs I have posted here.

MLM’s: Are They Really Worth It?

14 06 2007

mr-business-golf-in-the-library-cropped-small.jpgI was making a carpet bomb run on MLM’s over on my consulting site. It really gets me when friends come calling thinking because I am blogging away that they should throw me a bone an offer me an opportunity to buy into their pyramid scheme. WTF are they thinking?

True, something is better than nothing, but there are principles involved. The image of being a professional is more important than appearing like a Carney Operator.

Really, come on, if there was a true business opportunity in any of the MLM’s my attorney would have already told me to hit on it. Since she is the top attorney in franchise law I can trust that if she says NO, then the MLM is pretty much has some questionability of being a viable business venture. Or in my words full of crap.

Besides, I am going to make here soon. Right? At least that is what you told me. Are you now telling me that I am as full of crap as the MLM’s hammering every breathing human being? Is that why you are not commenting on any of the three blog sites I have cooking? Is this a statement on your part that confirms that this All Really Is Not Worth It?
