Taking Sabbatical!

I looked up the word Sabbatical and its definition pretty well describes what I am going to be doing.

A sabbatical year is a prolonged hiatus, typically one year, in the career of an individual taken in order to fulfill some goal, e.g., writing a book or traveling extensively for research.

Well, I guess it is time to finally fess up that none of this stuff out here on the internet really works. I would like to say it is just me, but unfortunately there are a large number of us out here that are now realizing that None of this is really all worth it.

I will be taking a sabbatical to work on my next book that I will be outlining all of the fallacies of the internet…until then you may want to check out my other book to catch up on what is going on.

Improving the Sound

I spent the morning working on improving my site.  Added the Sonific widget to my sites… Si when you hit my sites you are provided some mood music to read by…great program.  Check out my tunes.

Also am getting things ready for my non-profit site, Screen Door Open Charity Pro-AM Golf Tournament…it is going to have an all new look and the event is going to be all new…Still do not have the site up and running yet…

The videos and the set up of the Bagroom studios is continuous and messy.  I am waiting on getting a lavaliere mic to use with the recoding of my videos…

Got a delightful call from a client who wanted to give me a call to stay in touch….he learned his lessons well…”stay in touch with friends and business associates”.

Checked out a new site Eric’s Blog.  Has a ton of stuff on getting going online…worth the link. 

And of course, Rex Dixon and I were hammering the DIGG issue with a few salvos of comments and blogs. 

Did I mention that the Golf Girl was voted in the top ten of sexist people online..or something sexy like that…I am sure she deserves a better ranking than seventh.

Still not getting the traffic I would like to my sites…but I know one day it is all going to be worth it..

DIGG: Can You Spell Lawsuit?

I got an early morning wake-up message from Rex Dixon who is “Mr Insomnia” when it comes to hounding the internet on top stories.

Seems DIGG.COM has stirred up the Hornets that have been nesting in their membership for a while.  The persistent posting of illegal images and video’s to generate traffic for DIGG and to the person who posts the illegal item will be what causes Kevin Rose and crew to have to walk away from that site.  Kevin may think he will be walking away with his truckload of money, but he should get some better legal advice since my sources are telling me that he, his posse and their joint bank accounts will be locked up for sometime.  Can you say Pizza Delivery? 

This is serious, but a great opportunity for other sites that have safeguards in place to make sure the hornets don’t move over to their site.  There are plenty of sites out there to move to.  The New site GiveMeAFrigginBreak.com is one of them.  Anyone who wants to get in on the ground flow of that Nuclear Inbox creations and IBGS supported venture is welcome to do so.  It is guaranteed to not be posting anything that will be illegal… not with the fleet of attorneys that are backing that site.
